Prepare your Device for Download

1. In order to access the content of an MDC library eBook, you need permission to open it. This is done with an Adobe ID.

If you do not already have an Adobe ID, go to https://www.adobe.com/account/sign-in.adobedotcom.html
and create a username and password.

2. In order to display and read the content of the eBook, download the Bluefire Reader app to your device.

Go to http://www.bluefirereader.com/faq.html. On the left you will see the link for the free download for the Bluefire apps. Choose the app for the operating system of your device (Apple iOS for iPad and iPhone, or Android)

This page also contains the Bluefire user guide for more information about Bluefire Reader.

3. When you open Bluefire for the first time, authorize your device with the Adobe ID you created. You must authorize your device in order to read eBooks from the MDC eBooks from Ebsco, or any other rights-protected eBooks.
