Downloading E-books to a Computer or E-reader

Note: In order to read eBooks on your computer when you are offline (or to transfer them to your Adobe Digital Editions-compatible eBook Reader device) you must download them. You will need Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.1 or higher installed on your computer to be able to open and read eBooks or to transfer them.

Adobe Digital Editions is a free download available at http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-editions/download.html.

Download Ebsco eBooks to Mobile Devices

In order to download an eBook to a mobile device (tablet, smartphone, Kindle) you will need to establish 3 things:

1. An Ebsco account (see the link or handout for instructions)

2. An Adobe ID (see the link or handout for instructions)

3. The Bluefire Reader app on your device (see the links for your device)
