This course focuses on critical thinking skills for online research. Students will learn how to access, evaluate, and use information efficiently and ethically. The concepts and ideas we will cover in LIS2004 will be guided by the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) framework.

Class Overview

This is an 8 week course beginning March 7, 2022 and ending April 29, 2022. We will meet via Zoom in our virtual classroom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 AM until 8:50 AM. After each class session, you will need to complete a discussion post in Blackboard that corresponds to the week's topics, discussions, and activities. You will also complete an annotated bibliography, but don't worry about that now. Show up to class, engage with curiosity, and discover why research is essential. By the time you finish this course, you will have gone through the research process from start to finish.

I'm excited to learn with you!
