Open Educational Resources at MDC: Overview: OE Week 2021

Open Educational Resources (OER) are "teaching, learning, and research resources that reside in the public domain or have been released under an intellectual property license that permits their free use and re-purposing by others."

Main Event - MDC Faculty Panel on OER

What’s open, free and equitable?
OER, of course! You likely already know that Open Educational Resources (OER) are freely available, openly licensed learning materials, but did you know that they also contribute to making student learning and success more equitable? Join us for this informative session that will make the connection between equity and the choice and use of learning materials in a course. We strongly encourage faculty to bring their chairperson if they are considering OERing a course as the chairperson plays an important role in supporting faculty’s OER endeavors.

When: Wednesday, March 3rd 12:00-1:00 PM

Where: Online (Blackboard)

How to register? TCH1109-1

Note: This webinar will be packed with learning but does not come with FPD credit.
