Stop by the Kendall Campus Library during the month of May to see a collection of comic books, art, and memorabilia assembled by Dennis Edelen, Instructional Assistant and founding member of the Graphic Novel Group. The items on display are from Dennis' personal collection, and many are autographed by the authors and artists. Thanks, Dennis, for sharing your comic book treasures with us!

MDC's Graphic Novel Group is thrilled to announce that our application for the Will Eisner Graphic Novel Grant for Libraries has been approved by the American Library Association's Graphic Novels & Comics Round Table!
MDC is one of three institutions selected to receive the grant for the 2022-2023 academic year. The purpose of these grants is to encourage public awareness of the rise and importance of graphic literature, sequential art, and comics as a literary medium.
Stay tuned for information about grant-funded events and enhancements to our libraries' graphic novel collections.
