Instructional Design Consultations

To have a conversation with a professional who knows both instructional design and our learning management system, Blackboard (Bb), please use this form to find a time that works for you.

The instructional design sessions are planned for 30 minutes and are offered to help you and your students succeed in the online environment. The sessions will be focused on your needs and emphasize practical solutions.

Here are a few examples of teaching and learning questions with which an instructional designer can help:

  • How do I translate my in-person teaching plan into an on-line plan?
  • How can I have student presentations or speeches?
  • How can I have students conduct peer editing of papers?
  • What are different methods for assessing learning in an online format?

Please keep in mind, instructional consultations are not intended to take the place of basic training in Bb; however, even if you’ve taken no training yet, please complete the form and we can send you helpful resources.

For basic questions about how to log in or troubleshooting technology difficulties, please call 305-237-2505 or email instead to reach a technician who will help.
