Humanities Edge Undergraduate Research Symposium | Fall 2020

Abstract

This collection of monologues talks about the perspectives of a person with one of the five most common mental disorders: attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. The script discusses the everyday struggles that these mental illnesses cause and how people live with them. There is an option and hope to add more monologues in the future. This is a staged reading of the collection, with students from MDC.
