STEM Reinventing Educational Equity for Students (REEFS) Center for the implementation of student intervention strategies, including high-impact practices, to foster student completion of STEM courses. This space welcomes, accessible, comfortable, flexible, and safe to a variety of abilities, racial and ethnic backgrounds, genders, and ages. The Center will make sure that learning materials do not discriminate against anyone and are adapted where necessary, e.g., large print or audio tape format. The Center will be staffed by experienced professionals and faculty who are knowledgeable advocates of the target student population according to the proposal that was created.

Students will complete the online training offered by Tutor Lingo to gain a foundational understanding of the key theories and best practices in tutoring.
Students must sign up (it's free) and complete the assigned lessons.
Upon completion, they should present their certificate of completion to you.
This online training should be completed prior to the in-person session.
