Doing Library Research with Your Mobile Device!

Homepage: Use the Learning Resources homepage to gain access to the Library Catalog (aka LINCCweb to search for books, e-books, audio-books, VHS and DVDs), Articles and Databases (to search for academic journals and articles), Subject Guides, and Ask-A-Librarian (for online librarian assistance). 

No matter the device, the same steps apply while conducting your research online. To access the Learning Resources page via your mobile device, simple type the following address in your address bar: https://www.mdc.edu/librarymobi/.

 

Books - Business & Marketing

How to Search for Books & eBooks

  • Go to https://www.mdc.edu
  • Click on Libraries
  • Click on MDC Libraries
  • Click Search Catalog.
  • Narrow the Material Type to Books or eBooks.
  • Limit to the particular campus library you would like to search (e.g. Wolfson). 
  • Type your keyword(s) in the empty box(es).
  • Click on Search.
  • Write down the "call number" (e.g. JK1021. C565 2008) for the book, to find it in the library.  Or for an eBook, click "View Online" and log in with your Borrower ID ( student ID number) and PIN (last four digits of student ID number).
