I have been instructing young children for 25 years. I earned an A.S. and A.A (Associate of Science) (Associate of Arts) in Early Childhood Education from Miami Dade College in Florida. I had a vision that inspired me. Playing a significant role in the life of my students, being not only their teacher, but also their role model, at least when it comes to values and attitude to life. Let us face the reality the world we live in isn’t a simple place. We face many problems in society, and the future does not look bright. Good teachers and role models are as needed as ever, at least if we want to hope for better tomorrows. My vision of becoming such a teacher, and in this way contributing to a better future for all, inspired me to enroll in this study program.
Hello, my name is Lucrecia Lopez. I am the Lead Teacher in the Toddlers classroom. I have been teaching young children for 26 years. I studied Early Childhood Education at Miami Dade College. Something that inspires my work is knowing that I can instill light in every child I encounter to motivate and encourage them to reach their fullest potential. My hopes for young children and families are to continue to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, supportive, and educational environment. My most memorable experiences as a teacher are when my students show developmental growth in all domains of their milestones. My dream as a teacher is to leave a legacy of lifelong learners and leaders for the future community.
