Hispanic Heritage Month 2024 @ Padrón Campus
Miami Dade College proudly celebrate every year from Sept. 15 - Oct. 15 the contributions of Hispanics to the United States and the world. The Padrón Campus HHM Committee curates a selection of events and activities showcasing contributions in the humanities and sciences. This year, the celebration focuses on Hispanic pioneers of change and how they are helping to shape the future of our country.

During this remote session, the MDC Early Childhood Club will be reading important children’s literary works by Hispanic authors. Recommendations for parents to read to children at home will be provided.

Hispanic Desserts: A Cooking Demonstration. (This event is in Spanish) Local baker chef from Dulces Tere will be demonstrating how to make delicious Hispanic desserts from various countries. Desserts will be shared with the audience for a tasting experience of Hispanic proportions. Room 201 This event is canceled!
