This testing anxiety workshop aims to help MDC students manage and overcome anxiety during exams. Last year, this friendly competition not only had students testing their knowledge for finals exams, but also fighting over breakfast favorites. Team Waffles claimed victory, but this year, a new debate arises: Orange Juice or Apple Juice?

MDC Olympics

Join us for the 2024 MDC Olympics! This exciting event will take place at none other than the renowned Homestead Campus. This year's lineup includes classic games like tug-of-war, three-legged race, pie throwing, potato sack race, dominoes, volleyball, balloon stomp, egg-spoon race, and more. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to form teams for the tug of war competition. The winning team of Olympians will take home a trophy. You don’t want to miss it!

After much anticipation from the semester-long campaign, Dream A Little Green, we proudly present our final spring event: Adopt A Plant! Throughout the event you will meet community leaders, explore scholarship and internship opportunities, and take home a vibrant, healthy plant from Homestead Library’s propagation station.

Student Poetry Showcase and Voting

It's National Poetry Month, and Medical LR has been celebrating with a student poetry competition. All 21 submissions are on display in the library all week, so take a break from studying to refresh your mind with some poetry AND use your vote to help three student poets win fantastic prizes.
