This is the English & Communication Department Textbook Libguide; this link will always lead you to this Textbook Libguide, as it is populated with almost, if not all, of the class material that you will need for your communication, journalism, or public relations course offered by the Wolfson English & Communication Department. (Information on any material required beyond this Libguide will be provided to you by your instructor and will be on your syllabus.) Wolfson English & Communication Department
The department offers in-person, remote learning and blended classes with a variety of days and times to accommodate student learning and enrollment needs. If you'd like to pursue an English & Communication degree through focused study in English education, English literature, Mass Communication or Journalism, we prepare students for their pathway at MDC and upper division studies to connect students with peers, community, and industry.
Wolfson Reading and Writing Center
The Reading & Writing Center at Wolfson Campus is located at the Learning SPOT in room 2301. Starting Fall 2023, the Learning SPOT will also house several student services, including Admissions, Advisement, Financial Aid, New Student Center, International Student Services, and Dean of Students.
Reading and Writing Center Digital Brochure
Overseen by the English and Communication Department, the Learning Spot is an academic support center for currently enrolled Miami Dade College students.
