Session Overview

Make any Video Interactive with Playposit
Maria Guerrero, Professor, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Padrón Campus

An interactive video is much more effective than a standard video. I adopted Playposit upon the COVID 19 school closure since it allowed me to use my existing slide decks and turn them into engaging videos.  Playposit is an interactive web-based video platform that allows educators to provide formative assessment both inside and outside the classroom.  Interactive features that mirror the traditional classroom experience (i.e. clickers, discussions, quizzes, Q/A) can be applied to recorded videos or any of the popular video platforms like Youtube, Vimeo, KhanAcademy.  The data collected can then be analyzed on the individual or group level, providing he instructor with powerful insight into educational trends in the classroom.
