Enrichment Programs Assistant

Description: Work with volunteers, master gardeners, and the program director to maintain the gardens at MDC North campus, identify plants and create signage, create & facilitate activities for elementary students to engage in the garden, with the support of an educator, work with students to set up an aquaponics system, record data and maintain the system, off-site tabling at fairs/events/markets.

Program Assistant Fellow

Description: Assist with office management, facilitator trainings and special events. Assist the executive Director with community events, publications and social media management.

Communications Fellow

Description: Facilitate outreach and communication efforts to organize partners and the public, utilizing services as well as assisting in organizing citizenship drives.

All Majors and Campuses Welcome, Candidate must be fluent in both English as well as either Spanish or Creole.

Location: FLIC is hybrid, most work will be done remotely while occasional attendance at citizenship drives across the City will be required.

PIT Peer Mentor
Description: Assist foster youth with setting and achieving personal, educational and career goals. Collaborate with the Program Director to identify and secure resources for foster youth such as housing, education and healthcare. STEM Assistant Instructor

The STEM Assistant Instructor Would: Assist with robotics activities and competitions and assist with STEM-related homework.

Marketing & Communications Field Intern - develop marketing materials, manage social media accounts, and use multimedia tools to promote UPG and perform outreach.

Youth Development Program Assistant OR Natural Helper
Description: For the Youth Development Program Assistant, a fellow would be responsible for providing administration support, data entry, social media management, creating flyers and participating in staff meetings. A Natural Helper would: provide support services for the Mental Health Department, map community assets, and make referrals to community partners, follow up on referalls and attend weekly case staff meetings to discuss client needs and therapsts needs as well as administrative paperwork.

Social Awareness and Promotion Fellow
Description: At This is the Dog! you would be designing social media campaigns to promote social awareness, help organize fundraisers and highlight special cases, run and maintain social media accounts across platforms and act as a liaison for MDC students, promoting awareness.
