Students will learn tips and tricks to help them to create a compelling, specific, and convincing thesis statement. In this Skillshop, then, attendees will review how to read assignment sheets, select a topic just right for research, outline your paper, write effective introductions/thesis statements and conclusions, and the difference between quotation, paraphrase, summary, and citation when including other people's ideas in your paper--as well as when it is best to do each--to successfully tackle your biggest writing assignment.
