Farming While Black Film Screening
Miami Dade College Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center and the Miami International Festival of the Arts (MIFA), presents a special Farming While Black: Reclaiming Land and Agricultural Heritage screening. This inspiring film event will feature a live audience conversation with award-winning filmmaker Mark Decena, a three-time Sundance alum known for his impactful environmental storytelling. This event is supported by the Earth Ethics Institute and the Institute for Civic Engagement & Democracy, reinforcing the importance of sustainability, community, and civic engagement. Attendees will be able to engage in meaningful discussions about agriculture, land reclamation, and environmental justice.
