Office 365 Student Advantage

Collaborate on a project with your group anytime, anywhere. Office 365 allows you to create, edit, and view files online while fellow group members do the same. Access the latest versions of Office Suite with your MDC student email account, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and more.

Writing tutors and EnTec tutors at Learning Resources are trained and ready to help with PowerPoint questions.

Service Learning
Annual Student Interdisciplinary Symposium

Several groups with excellent posters will be selected to represent the class at the Student Interdisciplinary Symposium.

Class Projects

CLP 1006, Psychology of Personal Effectiveness

TR MDC Live 3:30 PM

Service-learning on food insecurity.

Students research a specific question about food insecurity and food pantry, prepare brief research reviews, and participate in at least 2 actions/service in our community. 


DEP 2000, Human Growth & Development

Tuesday (blended Thursday) 11:15 AM

Service-learning research project on the theme of promoting happiness, health, and well-being.

Students research a specific question related to the theme (mostly primary sources/original research), prepare brief literature review papers and conference posters to be showcased in the class and student symposium. 

Collaboration with Prof. Sikoff's SPC 1017 class.
