"The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is a free nutrition education program for limited resource families. Since 1969, the University of Florida’s EFNEP has worked in local communities to teach participants skills and strategies to stretch their food dollars, eat nutritious meals, and improve their overall health. EFNEP educators are members of the community who serve and teach participants how to improve their nutritional health and well-being."

"The UF/IFAS Extension Family Nutrition Program (FNP) empowers Floridians with limited resources to take control of their health. We teach people how to eat healthy on a budget and to get physically active in order to reduce the risk of obesity and chronic disease. We offer free nutrition education in schools, childcare centers, and in communities. We also work to improve access to healthy foods and change the environment in which adults and children make choices about food and fitness. FNP has programs in 37 counties in Florida. We offer free nutrition education to SNAP-eligible Floridians of all ages."

"This University of Florida IFAS Extension program was developed to help participants make lifestyle changes that can improve their health and decrease cancer risk. The nine modules provide information, motivation, and self-guided activities that will increase your knowledge and promote positive behavior changes for a healthier lifestyle and reduced health risks."
