Design and Architecture Senior High School - MDC Dual Enrollment: Learning Resources

This is a guide for dual enrollment students at Design and Architecture Senior High School.

What Is Information Literacy?

According to the American Library Association (ALA), information literacy is "a set of abilities requiring individuals to recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information.”

The SIFT Method can help you evaluate information that you find on the internet.  Resources you find at the MDC libraries can you lead to credible and scholarly sources.

Librarians can help with research and citations.  Face-to-face assistance is available throughout the day at the reference desk on the second floor of the library.  Appointments with librarians can also occur through face-to-face or virtual formats.
