Both the Presidential Scholars Program and the Rising Scholars Program aim to support students in their academic pursuits and overall personal development. They provide financial assistance, covering tuition and offering additional stipends for living expenses or related resources. These programs emphasize co-curricular activities, including career preparation, leadership development, civic engagement, and social events, contributing to a well-rounded educational experience. In partnership with Learning Resources, workshops were developed to further support these students, preparing them not only for their current academic endeavors but also equipping them with tools for success beyond their time at MDC.
