Kendall Learning Commons: Study Spaces

At the Learning Commons we offer different settings for your needs. From suitable areas for collaborative group work, individual seating, to study rooms.

Community Tables

  • Open and powered community worktables ideal for group work  
  • Dry erase markers are borrowed at the front desk if you would like to use one of the mobile whiteboards available

Private Study - Individual Setting

  • Individual desk spaces ideal for resource searches, printing, and other transitional activities between classes 
  • Soft comfortable individual seating for remote learning and longer lengths of study

Single Study Pods

  • Individual enclosed pods for those who want to study privately
  • Available at a first come, first serve basis

2 People Study Rooms

  • Find them on the second floor (Library)
  • Reservation is required. Please, review the guidelines before booking

4 People Study Room

  • Find them on the first floor (Computer Courtyard)
  • Reservation is required. Please, review the guidelines before booking

Multidisciplinary Study Hall

  • Offers support to Student Athletes with 20 desks and chairs, a presentation station and whiteboards
  • This room is by reservation only

Stacks

  • Use it at your own risk
  • Do not block the isle

  • Meals and uncovered drinks are not permitted in the Learning Commons.
  • Keep noise levels to a minimum in respect of fellow students and staff.

You will be asked to leave if you do not abide to these guidelines.
