ENC-1101 is the first required general core course in college-level writing about non-fiction and current events. It focuses on composing essays and other writing using various methods of development. ENC-1102 is the second required general education course in college-level writing. It focuses on writing essays and other writings about literature and fiction. Both courses fulfill the Gordon Rule requirement.
