How to Search for Books in the Catalog

  1. Log onto the Internet.
  2. Go to the North Campus Library webpage https://www.mdc.edu/learning-resources/libraries/
  3. Click on Advanced Catalog Search to search for books, DVDs, articles, etc.
  4. In the drop-down menus on the left side, enter your search terms.
  5. Click on Search (below the drop-down menus).
  6. Write down the "call number" (e.g. JK 1021 .C565 2008) for the book.
  7. Look for the book in the library.
