We represent teamwork and partnership throughout our academic accessibility and equality, and a lifelong learning experience with MDC and industry partners. Improving Florida's workforce through essential credential achievement is fundamental within our department.

Our Mission

The mission of the Department of Career & Technical Education (CTE) is:

• To provide resources, information and work-based learning for students in Career and Technical Education programs, including apprenticeships and accelerated trainings.
• To provide non-traditional work-based learning opportunities to students by connecting them to high-skilled, high-wage skilled employment.
• To assist in developing a high skilled workforce to stimulate economic growth.
