Yes! All attendees must have a free ticket and go through a security checkpoint in order to receive a wrist band, which is required to enter all venues of the con. It is strongly encouraged to get your free ticket in advance online to avoid long wait lines and internet congestion that might occur throughout the day of the event!
For the safety of all guests, doors open at 1:00 pm to allow for vendors, artists, and equipment setup.
You can enter the con from Building 5 or Building 2. The college's main entrance located at NW 113th Street and 27th Ave is the nearest entrance to building 2.
The bus stop is located directly in front of building 2.
Many of the Metrobus routes run 24 hours a day. For information on a specific route please check the Miami transport webpage.
The practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, or video game.
The anime movie screenings will be held in room #2147.
The Lehman Theater and Studio Theater are located on the first floor of building 5.
Food trucks, carts, tables, and vendors will be located throughout the event! Check the Venue Map for more detailed information.
Most special guests and artists will have tables for autographs in the Vendor & Artist alley located in Building 2. Check the Venue Map for more specific information.
Yes, if you leave you may re-enter the convention by going through the various security checkpoints located at the entrances of all main indoor areas. Wrist bands will be given for re-entry.
No, childcare will not be provided. All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
First-Aid stations are located in Building 2 and Building 5.
Parking is free and various parking lots for the event can be found on the southside of buildings 2 & 5.
The ATM is located in front of the main entrance of Building 2.
No, there will be no storage area provided. Guests must be responsible for their belongings at all times.
Lost & Found will be located at the Information Booth located in front of Building 2 near the convention entrance.
You may ask a Finn-Con staff member, a public safety officer, or a police officer for assistance.
Real weapons are NOT PERMITTED on the college premises. All props must be properly dulled, peace bonded, and obviously disabled. For more information, check our official rules and dress code.
