Picture of Professor Ashan

Dr. Rahnuma (Rah) Ahsan is a faculty member at Miami Dade College. She is the recipient of several awards, including the Business Educator of the Year Award by the Greater Kendall Business Association Impact Award for Excellence in Teaching Entrepreneurship from the National Association of Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE). Dr. Ahsan is a co-recipient of the MDC President’s Innovation Award for Artificial Intelligence for Business Innovation & Sustainability (AIBIS) project. Dr. Ahsan is passionate about social entrepreneurship. Many of her students have participated in and won awards in local, state, and national business pitch competitions. She is also a founding partner of Social Venture Miami, a venture philanthropy network. Dr. Ahsan was the founding Lead Faculty for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at MDC program. She also leads the creation of the Human Resources Management concentration and the upcoming Digital Marketing concentration in the BAS Supervision & Management program.

Picture of Professor Loubeau

Dr. Milena Loubeau is a professor of Management at Miami Dade College. Dr. Loubeau joined Miami Dade College School of Global Business Trade and Transportation in 2013. Before joining Miami Dade College, Dr. Loubeau taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Phoenix, South Florida Campus. Dr. Loubeau also taught at the primary and secondary levels at several schools in the Fort Lauderdale area. Prior to joining academia, Dr. Loubeau’s career was in health care administration, where she held different positions at a Fortune 500 company. Dr. Loubeau is a published author and an entrepreneur who strives to create opportunities for those in her community. Dr. Loubeau serves her community by volunteering her time to serve those who are economically disadvantaged at her local church and non-profit organizations in Miami-Dade.

Picture of Dr. Richard Sarabia

Richard Sarabia has been working at Miami Dade College Kendall Campus since August 2015 as lead faculty for the Bachelor of Supply Chain Management Program, holding the title of Associate Professor. Dr. Sarabia also is an Adjunct Instructor with American Public University System, teaching Reverse Logistics since 2013, and is the instructor for Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Small Business program in Miami, delivering their business operations module since 2018. He has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and is the advisor to the student Propeller Club which focuses on professional networking. Awards include the Greater Kendall Business Association, Educator of the Year in 2017, is a member of Sigma Beta Delta and Epsilon Pi Tau honors societies. His professional experience spans automotive, food, retail, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and training. Focusing on operations process analysis and improvement, for forward and reverse logistics centers. Dr. Sarabia’s goal is two parts; impart enough information to his students so that they have valuable unique skills and insight that employers see as vital for solving their supply chain problems. The second is to help students see the beauty of the supply chain discipline as a complex symphony of independent activities coordinated near perfectly to get the right product, to the right place, in the right way, in the right quantity and right quality, at the right time, for the right customer at the right cost.
