About the library:
When the Miami-Dade County Law Library (MDCLL) system was created under a plan conceived and sponsored by the Miami-Dade County Bar Association in 1937 (Laws of Florida, Chapter 17720), it was dedicated to the "perpetual use" of the Bench and Bar of Miami-Dade County. Although the library's collection has grown from its original 4,000 volumes to almost 70,000 volumes today, and its mandate has expanded to include service to all the citizens of Miami-Dade County, the founding principle of providing "accessibility to the sources of legal knowledge and experience" remains firmly in place.
Please note, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the law library is closed to the public until further notice. However, we are still providing limited services. For additional information, all inquiries must be submitted via email to: email@example.com.
