Overview

Welcome, Scholastic Sharks!

This program will engage students in a myriad of individualized learning opportunities in reading, writing, grammar, research, and technology through workshops and one-on-one tutoring. The activities we are inviting you to participate in were designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of important skills needed to succeed in reading- and writing-intensive courses, such as ENC 1101, ENC 1102, and SPC 1017.

Scholastic Sharks are asked to:

  • attend 1 orientation at the Reading & Writing Center
  • attend 1 orientation at Learning Resources
  • attend 6 workshops (one in each category)
  • attend 3 tutoring sessions

Learn more about each aspect of the program by using the navigation pane or by clicking below.
