Abstract
This project will compare and contrast the educational experiences of people who have arrived in the U.S. at different ages versus those who were born here as children of immigrants. It will show what has affected their experience and the challenges they face in the educational system. The result of this research will lead to a short story based on the experiences of the students who will be interviewed. The story will be told through multiple narrators who will each share their experiences navigating through the educational system.
