Javier Noriega is 22 years old and is close to completing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity. He is Cuban-Venezuelan and arrived in the United States in 2016. His associate degree was in Programming (Mobile Application Development) because of that I developed 2 apps for Android and 1 app on Flutter (so it could be deployed for both Android and IOS at the same time) he did not publish any of the applications on the store because of security concerns and using copyrighted material. He is interested to find out how secure our college is, how aware our classmates really are about cybersecurity, and how easily an attacker could steal their information through an open connection, for example. In the future, he plans on starting a career in the field as well as being able to develop applications while being more aware of the security aspect of them which is the one thing that prevented him from publishing one of his applications for Android some years ago. |
