Her career goal is to be a medical biotechnologist and go to graduate school and earn her PhD in biomedical sciences. Born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in multicultural Miami, Florida, I have a lot to be thankful to my family for instilling in me compassion for people and awe of the natural world. I have had a lifelong interest in science and am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in biology at Miami Dade College in Miami, Florida. My enduring passion for science has led me to participate in incredible opportunities through my university’s School of Science as an undergraduate researcher and most recently as an American Heart Association HSI Scholar. My utmost goal is to have the medical knowledge as a physician to empower my future patients with the knowledge to take care of their health and their families, this way contributing to human dignity, social well-being and health equity. |

Currently a third year bachelor’s student at Miami Dade College studying Biological Sciences with a concentration in Biopharmaceutical Sciences. Within her academic career, Brianna has completed her A.A in Biology, a frequent student on the Dean’s list, and a member of three honor societies within MDC including Phi Theta Kappa, Psi Beta, and NSLS. She has also volunteered for various organizations, primarily volunteering with the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) society. As a second semester research student, she has valued the knowledge and experience provided by the School of Science, along with her mentors and peers. With a passion for healthcare, Brianna hopes to continue her career within the field of neurology as a future medical professional and researcher.

A first year Honors College student at the Kendall Campus and he is completing his associate in arts degree in Mathematics. He is currently the President of Future Financial Leaders and Model United Nations. He aspires to be a Quantitative Trader or an Investment Banking Manager/Analyst for a Wall Street Firm. He also has a deep passion for creative writing and plans to pursue that field in the future. | An electronics engineering student at MDC. He was born and raised in Nicaragua and has always had a passion for electronics, computing, and sciences in general. As of recently he developed a fan controller for his server using STM32 microcontroller, along with its Linux driver. His future academic goals include making his own arm64 or riscV chips and allowing fully free software bios implementation.
