  • Sustainable Florida – Sustainable Florida – Collins Center is the premier alliance of organizations and leaders committed to promoting sustainable development principles through collaboration and education seeking to balance economic interests with the need to be socially and environmentally responsible.
  • Sustainable Tallahassee (Tallahassee) – Sustainable Tallahassee focuses on community education and collaboration to generate economic development and more sustainable community. Relying on volunteers, Sustainable Tallahassee is harnessing the energy within the community to promote collaboration between local groups, individuals, and businesses to grow the city’s green collar job market.
  • Florida Green Building Coalition – The Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) is a non-profit certification and education organization focused on greening the built environment in Florida. FGBC believes that through education and a focus on environmental, economic, and social responsibility in the building industry will support sustainable growth within a community.
  • USGBC Central Florida Chapter (Central Florida) – The Central Florida USGBC Chapter seeks to be the source in Central Florida for education and outreach about sustainable planning, design, construction and operation of the built environment through leadership, advocacy, and initiative.
  • USGBC Florida Capital Region Chapter (Tallahassee area) – The Florida Capital Region Chapter of the USGBC is to have a positive impact on Florida’s environment, economy, and social well-being by: 1) Promoting LEED and other sustainable building practices and technologies, 2) Encouraging green and sustainable design, construction, and operation of buildings, 3) Developing green and sustainable building standards, design practices, and technologies, 4) Providing outreach and education to their members and communities.
