One hundred million marine animals die each year from plastic waste alone. Ocean pollution is a result of human activity and runoff, and continues to be a growing problem for marine life. In the past 10 years, we’ve made more plastic than the last century. By 2050, the pollution of fish will be outnumbered by our dumped plastic. My project, Ocean’s Pollution, shows the amount of debris we produce that ends up killing so many of ocean’s animals. The future of ocean life depends on us and our efforts to drastically diminish polluting our seas with harmful waste.
