"Nature's Graveyard" 
Course: ART 1203C

The 6x4 piece represents a call to action towards the conservation of our forests. The graveyard amongst the trees contains names of endangered forests that, without proper attention, will inevitably die off. The city in the background is to give an idea as to where the forests’ resources are going, and how we are part of the reason why the forests are dying, so we should be responsible for their rehabilitation. Through using the Miami skyline and including a gravestone with the Florida Mangroves on it, I hoped to bring it to a more personal level since it is our home, and they are also affected by this issue.
