Steps to Participate in the Unify Challenge College Bowl - Spring 2024
- REQUIRED: Reserve your spot by signing up here -- it takes two minutes! You must sign up in advance so a) your name will appear on the "faculty" list when your students sign up, and b) so Unify America can send you important updates. It will take 2-3 days for your name to appear in the list of professors, and then your students can start signing up.
- Watch the short videos here on the About tab and review the Overview Flyer.
- Review the Faculty Facilitators Guide (or click here for the "Professors Resources School Toolkit" - that includes norm settings, a poster, student instructions, tips & tricks, and the Facilitators Guide).
- (Optional but Recommended) Invite your iCED representative to visit your class to talk about the Challenge.
- CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK FOLDERS - all correspondence will be from "unifyamerica.org" -- generally from "events@unifyamerica.org" or "carol.vederman@unifyamerica.org" - remind your students to check their spam/junk mail too.
-
Civic Action Scorecard – Participating in the Unify America College Bowl is worth 10 points (see item CW-10 found here in the Changemaker Hub). Students must log into the Changemaker Hub and answer three reflection prompts to earn 10 points towards the Civic Action Award. Instructions on how to add a Scorecard action into the Hub are found here in the Documents section of the Hub (Open: “Adding Impacts Master_Sept 2023.docx” and see Section E. “How to Add Civic Actions on the Changemaker Hub”)
