Steps to Participate in the Unify Challenge - Fall 2025
- REQUIRED: You MUST complete this instructor registration form so your name appears for your students to choose when they register. It takes just 3 minutes to sign up, but is required.
- Watch the short videos here on the About tab and review the Overview Flyer.
- Review the "Civic Gym Facilitation Guide" (click here for "Student FAQs and Tips" and here to see "What Student Participants Can Expect" information)
- (Optional but Recommended) Invite your iCED representative to visit your class to talk about the Challenge.
- CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK FOLDERS - all correspondence will be from "unifyamerica.org" -- generally from "events@unifyamerica.org" or "carol.vederman@unifyamerica.org" - remind your students to check their spam/junk mail too.

Civic Action Scorecard – Participating in the Unify Challenge is worth 10 points (see item CW-10A found here in the Changemaker Hub). Students must log into the Changemaker Hub and answer three reflection prompts to earn 10 points towards the Civic Action Award. Instructions on how to add a Scorecard action into the Hub are found here in the Documents section of the Hub (Open: “Adding Impacts Master_Sept 2023.docx” and see Section E. “How to Add Civic Actions on the Changemaker Hub”)
Key Facts:
The Fall 2025 the Unify Challenge will take place 14 times over seven days in September and October:
- Tuesday, September 23: 2 pm or 5 pm
- Wednesday, September 24: 5 pm or 8 pm
- Thursday, September 25: 2 pm or 5 pm
- Tuesday, September 30: 5 pm or 8 pm
- Wednesday, October 1: 2 pm or 5 pm
- Friday, October 3: 1 pm or 4 pm
- Monday, October 6: 5 pm or 8 pm
- It takes about 2 minutes for a student to "sign-up" and the actual time participating in the Bowl is ~1 hour.
- Your students will be matched with a peer from another school.
