Unify America Challenge: Students

This Libguide is dedicated to the Unify America Challenge College Bowl, a face-to-face video conversation between two students who attend different schools and may vote differently, live in different geographies, or have different life experiences.

How to Participate

  1. Review the Student Instructions Flyer
  2. Watch the two videos on the About Tab
  3. Review Student Tips and Tricks
  4. Review the College Bowl Norm Setting and FAQs.
  5. Sign up for the challenge at and choose your professor’s name on the last question (1. If your professor's name doesn't appear, wait 24 hours and try again -- the list of faculty names are updated every two days; 2. If you are doing it for two professors, select just one of the professors. iCED can pull a report for you later; & 3. If you are doing the challenge on your own, select “None of the above.”)
  6. When you sign up, there will be 12 options for you to choose from (pending availability - first come, first served). The challenge takes place over six days (Sept. 27, 28, & 29, and Oct. 4, 5, & 6) at 5 pm and 8 pm - so six days, and two options per day for you to choose from).

Remember - you must do the Challenge on a desktop or laptop computer, it will not work on your phone or on a tablet
