Faculty Work

Reroute, Return, and Redemption

The Reroute, Return and Redemption event is an annual initiative that aims to foster inclusion and empathy for non-traditional college students. It provides a platform for these students to share their experiences and connect with their peers, transforming isolation into inspiration.

The event features speaking sessions where attendees can hear inspiring success stories of non-traditional students who have overcome various obstacles to achieve their academic success and beyond. These stories encourage college students from all walks of life to pursue their own academic and personal goals.

Teaching & Learning Symposium

Padrón Campus' annual Teaching & Learning Symposium is hosted once a year with the goal of showcasing campus teaching and learning via faculty initiatives, interactive projects, student-centered instructional pedagogies/processes and a showcase of student projects and research posters.

Faculty is invited to participate during faculty sessions by presenting  innovative teaching strategies or practices they are implementing, showcasing group/class projects, and/or individual students' work.
