Abstract
As the workforce evolves, it is imperative that we recognize the stereotypes attributed to older and younger workers and identify ways to alleviate ageism. With the guidance of my mentor, Dr. Trinidad Argüelles, and established research, I created a sensitivity training on age discrimination. The presentation can be used to protect the older workforce or the younger incoming workforce from experiencing discrimination and unfair treatment. The presentation explores the effects of discrimination, laws that protect workers, and why age sensitivity training is so important.
