Abstract
Between 1850 and 1910, women's fashion underwent a significant transition toward modern garments. Each decade introduced its own distinct fashion rules and silhouettes, reflecting broader societal changes. These transformations were not solely about clothing but were deeply influenced by key historical events, including the Industrial Revolution, the suffrage movement, and World War I. The Industrial Revolution, in particular, played a pivotal role, as advancements in mass production accelerated the pace of fashion evolution.
