West Campus Strategic Plan: Goal 5: Securing Our Future

West Campus Strategic Plan

Securing our future

2022-2023

The West Campus goal was to foster a culture of resourcefulness by identifying new grants to write based on campus needs and worked with Resource Development to enhance trainings.

West Campus commits to increasing our capacity to deliver student services and innovative pedagogy by obtaining external resources through the successful submission and awarding of grants.

  • We committed to submit two grants. Our NSF grant to enhance student acquisition of math skills, and our Title V grant to fund student success supports such as paid internships, mentorships, undergraduate research, and student success supports
  • We provided training on how to submit grants to our campus community. We asked new employees to complete a grants 101 training within 90 days of being hired.

Goals

1 . January 2023 we will send all new employees to the campus a link with Grants 101 training along with a Qualtrics survey link to be completed by Feb 15th.

2.  January 2023 we will send all FT employees a link to Grants 101 along with a Qualtrics survey to be completed by Feb. 15th

3. The Resource Development committee will submit one grant.
