An online resource guide addressing social innovation and changemaking education resources
Whether through classes, co-curricular activities, internships, or special events, MDC takes a broad approach at engaging educators and staff in the spirit of changemaking. Changemakers encourage and celebrate all sorts of positive change, whether big or small, and offer different ways to get involved in changemaking. MDC’s strategy for changemaker education aims to be accessible and inclusive with a clear call to action.
The IDEA Center is a support network for all Miami Dade College students and community members to make creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial ideas come true. They are committed to building entrepreneurs that change the world and creating changemakers with an entrepreneurial mindset. The IDEA Center partners with diverse business experts, educators, and innovators to ensure MDC students have the support they need to succeed in making their creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial ideas come true.
The Institute for Civic Engagement and Democracy is part of the office of Changemaking Education and Social Innovation. iCED's mission is to transform learning, strengthen democracy and contribute meaningfully to the common good by awakening and empowering students for lifelong civic engagement.
