Withdrawing from a course after the refund period indicated on your schedule always has financial consequences. If you paid for the course yourself, that money will not be reimbursed to you. If financial aid paid for the course, you may need to give back some of the money you received. See your financial aid advisor for more details.

To drop courses, please follow the steps below:

  • 1. Log into MD Connect
  • 2. Select ‘Drop’ and choose the term you wish to drop from
  • 3. Select the class or classes you wish to drop
  • 4. Click ‘Drop Selected Classes’
  • 5. Press 'Next'

Note: students need an override or department consent to register for BAS classes, but not to drop them.

 

Q: Where is the reapply application for previous students?

A: it’s all one application. There is no separate application. Previous students can sign in with their MDC email address using the Continue with My MDC option.

A: When asked: “What are you interested in?” Applicants will choose: “I want to get a career in a year or less.”

A transitional acceptance is pending satisfactory completion of the entire entrance requirements listed within the School of Justice, Public Safety and Law Studies Admissions Requirement website:

All prerequisites MUST be completed within your first two semesters in order to stay in compliance.
