Miami, March 30, 2021 – In an ongoing effort to expand post-graduate opportunities for students, Miami Dade College (MDC) and Nova Southeastern University (NSU) established a new “4+1” articulation agreement that allows MDC graduates with a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity to seamlessly transfer to a master’s degree at NSU with a special tuition discount.

Miami, Sept. 18, 2020 – In an ongoing effort to expand post-graduate opportunities for its students, Miami Dade College (MDC) has established a “4+1” articulation agreement with Florida Atlantic University (FAU) that will allow MDC graduates with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, data analytics or information systems technology to complete a master’s degree at FAU in one year.

Shark Start Orientation is a program that will help you transition to MDC with everything you need to get started. Shark Start Orientation is required for all First-Time in College students, including recent high school graduates as well as adult learners attending college for the very first time.

3+3 Program

How it works: the student takes 90 credits as an undergraduate fulfilling their major and general education requirements with the remaining 30 credits taken during the first year of law study at St. Thomas University School of Law. Applicants must have a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are allowing students to apply to the program without the SAT or ACT. Students must also maintain a 3.0 undergraduate GPA and have a minimum LSAT score of 150 to enter the law school portion of the program. Upon successfully completing their first year of law study, students are awarded the bachelor’s degree in their chosen major. In a nutshell, the St. Thomas 3+3 BA/JD program combines a quality undergraduate and law school education that is a great path for high-achieving students who are eager to begin their career in law as early as possible. Students are responsible for meeting all major requirements prior to going to law school.
Three + Three – B.A.+J.D. Programs
St. Thomas University College of Law has collaborated with St. Thomas University, Miami-Dade College and Lynn University to offer students an opportunity to earn a combined Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctor Degree. The Accelerated Law Program allows students to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree in six years instead of the traditional seven years. In this way, students save one year of tuition and may enter the work force a year earlier. Students may also elect to obtain a joint degree while in law school. Students who elect to obtain a joint degree may graduate with a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, and a Juris Doctor degree in six years.
