The Sustainability Team at North Campus builds a Changemaking community through prioritizing Earth Literacy, Environmental Sustainability, and Resiliency

Miami-Dade College students showed up Friday at the school’s North Campus to take part in the Earth Ethics Institute’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.

Miami Dade College Mental Health Counselling

Counselors are available on campus during the day and after-hours throughout the week including Saturdays. Students may receive up to 10 free hour-long sessions where they can speak confidentially with a licensed counselor. Sessions during the day may be held either in person (on campus), by phone, or virtually. When filling out the form, please select either daytime or after-hours counseling.

After-hours sessions, including Saturdays, are only held virtually. MDC is collaborating with Mantra Health to offer virtual mental health care through a confidential and secure patient portal. The portal provides seamless communication with your provider through a messaging system and video calls.

We Are Speaking But No One is Listening (VIDEO)  

A frank conversation about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Climate Crisis. University students from Miami Dade College and UK based University of St. Andrews and University of Exeter came together to highlight youth led groups working to solve the climate crisis at the frontlines.

The Oasis: A Reimaging Cities Project

The Idea Center at Miami Dade College and Moonlighter Miami have teamed up to bring a brand-new outside lounge area to Wolfson Campus. Students were challenged to design a public space to help keep folks safe during COVID-19 and provide additional solutions to micromobility challenges.
