INTRODUCTION TO ADVISEMENT SESSION

  • Visitors refer to the campus map for directions.
  • Police Academy, Private Investigators, Fire Academy, FBAT, PAT training and assessment centers.
  • Use NAVIGATE to create your MAP.
  • Use MDConnect to check and follow your Degree AUDIT,
  • Use your Shopping Cart to select your classes to Register
  • Look into the orientation, transition and articulation agreements, PLA and Foreign Trained Professionals, the IDEA Center tabs. 
  • Explanation of selection of classes using the students' degree audit (Academic Requirements) use of shopping cart - See PP presentation and YouTube video.
  • Rules of all ONLINE classes, rate my professor, introduction of the faculty.
  • Directory of North Campus & Phonebook, roles and obligations of the different departments like Financial Aid (FAFSA), Admissions & Registration forms IN-State tuition.
  • Dean of students' petitions, scholarships and fellowships to continue to master's and PhDs *Pro-Fellow agency, Single Stop and their benefits, appeals with F.A.
  • Math and ENC remedials, Study Abroad program, orienting the advisors of the different campuses to be in sync regarding the programs, 
  • FCLE testing and preparation or boot camp RSVP to take the test to graduate,
  • What the students need to apply for the BAS and to apply to successfully graduate!
