This presentation includes details related to the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) including epidemiology background information, transmission statistics on cases and fatalities, clinical manifestations, the types of patients at risk of developing health complications, and types of diagnostic tests. In promotion of good health and well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic, this presentation aims to also provide helpful information on SARS-CoV-2 prevention recommendations, therapeutic treatments and medications, and SARS-CoV-2 vaccines currently in phase three of clinical trials.
