Genesis Castaneda
Genesis is a Cuban-American dancer from Miami, Florida, specializing in street and social dance. She trained under Michelle Grant-Murray at Miami Dade College and earned a BFA in Dance from the University of the Arts. Passionate about sharing street dance culture, she teaches and performs nationally. Genesis has worked with renowned choreographer Rennie Harris and contributes to Carne Viva Dance Theatre. Her performances blend tradition with contemporary expression, reflecting her commitment to artistic innovation and cultural storytelling.
House Dance: Groove & Foundations
This all-levels session explores the fundamentals of House dance, musicality, and groove. Participants will develop a deeper connection to the music through guided movement exercises, rhythm-based drills, and choreography. Emphasizing flow, energy, and self-expression, this class provides a space for dancers to have a great time and build community.
