Abstract
This project explores online extremist/radical spaces in order to discover common patterns amongst these posts. Preliminary findings show consistent occurrences of misinformation, conspiracies, and harmful rhetoric towards certain minority groups. On certain forums/social media platforms rhetorical forms are gated by in-group language. Content analysis of in-group text tropes, symbols, and jokes may serve to locate the origins of misinformation
