"MDC - Kendall Campus Sustainable Landscaping Alternatives"
Course: MAN 4900 - Capstone Project in Supervision and Management

The scope of this project focuses on the actionable items MDC staff can take to: reduce landscaping operational costs, increase native foliage, add value such that it increases enrollment, all the while addressing the larger issue of cohabiting with wildlife. Research and cost analysis show that MDC can reduce costs by increasing native plants as substitute groundcover for sod. We also recommend updates to the MDC Design Criteria Standards in order to improve its use in making the campus more sustainable.
