Personal experiences in my childhood recreated in scenes that highlighted the importance of women empowerment and gender equality. Growing up with an older brother showed me the differences in childhood experiences an individual can have due to traditional gender roles. As a female, it was impossible to ignore the social sexual double standard and its negative effect on our home environments. Whether it be forcing toxic masculinity onto males or objectifying females, promoting gender equality would shed light onto these difficult experiences one might go through in their life.
